DETAILED SPECIFICATION
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.01 SCOPE
1. Preparation of smooth, flat and plumb substrate
2. Architectural woodwork, masonry, doors and frames, hardware, gypsum drywall, plastering, ceilings, wall covering, painting and electrical work.

1. Rigid PVC SNAP-TEX track framework with patented locking jaws and flexible hinge section in either 9mm, 12.5mm, 16mm or 25mm in either Round, Square or Bevel profiles.
2. Acoustical sub-surface compressible polyester batting.
3. Optional - sub-surface material complying building codes on NCR values and Fire Retardant ratings.
4. Fabric: to be supplied by the installer: (a) Name (b) Pattern (c) Colour
5. Customer's own material (COM) shall be approved by the installer as to suitability. The following information concerning the COM shall be submitted to the installer by the architect or owner: (a) Fabric manufacturer (b) Pattern (c) Colour (d) Width of fabric (e) Length of bolt (f) A one metre sample for test suitability
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.01 EXISTING CONDITIONS
1. The space has been enclosed and is weathertight.
2. All wet work has been completed and is dry.
3. Painting is complete and wall base & floor covering are installed.
4. All adjacent and related work of other trades has been completed including in part, architectural woodwork, masonry, doors & frames, hardware, gypsym drywall, plastering, wall covering, painting, ceiling grid and electrical work.
5. Ambient temperature and humidity are continuously maintained at values, indicated for final acceptance of the building or occupancy of the space.
3.02 INSTALLATION
Optional fasteners may be used as may be required for special substrates, providing they are in strict accordance with the manufacturer's printed instructions and comply with governing regulations and fire resistance rating requirements specified.
